Project Program: Renovations were completed at all six district buildings. Additions were constructed to the High School and Wellwood Middle School. Most of work was performed during the summer to minimize disruption to school operations. The work was spread out throughout all six school buildings and spread out again within each separate building. There were a lot of small separate work areas that combined to make this a challenging overall project. The work was similar in most of the areas and required the same construction trades. Therefore, a well organized work sequence and complete adherence to the schedule was crucial to the success of the program.
RWA worked closely with the contractors in compiling the Master Schedule to analyze the manpower resource loading of the project to ensure a manageable work flow for each individual trade. All work was completed on September 2008.
