Bonaventure Square construction could get under way this summer
ALLEGANY - If all goes well, developers with the Bonaventure Square project hope to start construction on the grounds of the former Castle property by this summer.
That was the word from Kevin Greiner of Ross Wilson Greiner Real Estate Development & Planning Services following his presentation during Monday's meeting of the Allegany Planning Board.

North Central Syracuse School District
The North Syracuse Central School District and NYSERDA have partnered to improve
the efficiency, health and comfort of the District's buildings. In 2002, the District received
an incentive of $9,460 from the New York Energy $martSM Smart Equipment Choices
Program to install high-efficiency lighting, daylight dimming controls and vending machine
occupancy sensors. The improved controls and li hting provide a better environment in
the school and cost less to operate.

Among the planned components of the approximately $60 million development are a recreation complex with bowling alleys, sports lounge, arcade and gaming room; apartment housing designed for graduate students and area professionals; a hotel with conference space; a sporting/multi-purpose complex that will provide indoor and outdoor venues for a wide variety of sporting events and tournaments; and retail stores and restaurants to support the complex.
